Terms of Service

1. Purpose

These Terms of Service govern the use of the hōra service (accessible via gethora.com and WhatsApp), published by Sycamore SAS, hereinafter "the Publisher". By using the service, you accept these terms.

2. Service Description

hōra is a working hours tracking service for household staff (nannies, babysitters) via WhatsApp. The service uses artificial intelligence to analyse messages sent by staff and generate monthly reports.

3. Registration and Account

Registration is free, no credit card required. Every new signup receives a 3-month trial with full access to all features. You must provide accurate information when registering. You are responsible for the confidentiality of your login credentials.

4. Fees

The service offers a permanent free plan and three paid plans:

  • Free plan — €0 forever. 1 active nanny, monthly report, full dashboard, expense tracking, WhatsApp corrections.
  • Quarterly plan — €3.99 / quarter. Up to 5 nannies, real-time notifications, weekly + monthly reports, Pajemploi API (coming). No commitment, cancel anytime.
  • Annual plan — €10 / year. Same features as Quarterly, saves about 37%. No commitment.
  • Lifetime access — €20 one-time payment. Same features as Quarterly, no renewal. Non-refundable.

The 3-month full-feature trial at signup auto-downgrades to the Free plan if not converted to a paid plan. No data is deleted when moving to the Free plan. Pricing may be changed for new users with 30 days' email notice (existing users keep their plan at the price they acquired it).

5. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy of information entered (hourly rates, phone numbers). hōra provides a calculation assistance tool — it is your responsibility to verify the generated reports before making payments to your staff.

6. Limitation of Liability

The service is provided "as is". The Publisher cannot be held liable for calculation errors due to messages misinterpreted by the AI, WhatsApp service interruptions, or any indirect harm related to the use of the service.

7. Intellectual Property

The content of the site (texts, design, logos, code) is the property of Sycamore SAS. Any reproduction is prohibited without prior authorisation.

8. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from your dashboard. Deletion results in the permanent erasure of all your data within 30 days.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by French law. Any dispute will be brought before the competent courts of Paris.

11. Service continuity

hōra commits to maintaining the service as long as technical and economic conditions allow. The service relies on third-party platforms — in particular Meta's WhatsApp Business API and Google's AI models (Gemini) — whose terms, pricing and access policies may change without notice and independently of Sycamore SAS's control. In the event of force majeure, any unforeseen event, significant infrastructure cost changes, or changes in policy, pricing or access conditions from Meta, Google or any other third-party provider critical to the service, Sycamore SAS reserves the right to discontinue all or part of the service with 30 days' email notice. No refund, full or partial, may be claimed for a lifetime access one-time payment under these circumstances, which is explicitly agreed to with awareness of these risks.

12. Feature evolution

Sycamore SAS reserves the right to evolve the features included in each plan. Paid plans (Quarterly, Annual, Lifetime) grant access to full features: real-time notifications at every nanny shift declaration, weekly report, support for up to 5 nannies, and automatic Pajemploi integration (coming). The Free plan covers core features: WhatsApp hours tracking for 1 nanny, monthly report, web dashboard. Users will be notified by email at least 30 days before any change to how features are allocated between plans.
